City council chambers NDN

NORFOLK - The Norfolk City Council approved a pair of zoning changes at its meeting Monday night.

City Planner Val Grimes told the council members the zoning requests are for the Blackberry Heights Subdivision, which is northwest of Norfolk near 25th Street and Eisenhower Avenue.

Troy Johnston with JEO Consulting Group spoke on behalf of the requests and said it is consistent with the area as well as the future land use map.

Johnston said they’re looking to submit a final plat as soon as possible and begin work in the spring.

The council approved the zoning changes on all three readings.
