LINCOLN — The Norfolk Catholic Knights won their record 11th title on Tuesday afternoon, beating the Hartington Cedar Catholic Trojans 23-0 in the Class C2 championship game at Memorial Stadium.

LINCOLN — A monster day from Kyle Kasik and a strong defensive effort led the Clarkson/Leigh Patriots to their first state title in program history on Monday afternoon.

On Oct. 21, Norfolk Catholic hosted Hartington Cedar Catholic to end the regular season, winning a 14-0 slugfest.

The Norfolk Catholic offense rolled to five touchdowns and added a field goal as well, then turned back the Chanticleers’ attempt in the third quarter to get back in the game, before finishing off a 38-6 win in the Class C2 semifinal Friday night.

EWING — Time after time, all game long, the Summerland defense made key stops during the Bobcats’ 28-14 Class D1 playoff win over Bridgeport.

HUMPHREY — One of the many first-round matchups in the Class D2 playoffs on Thursday saw yet another clash of two schools that are quite familiar with each other.
