HASTINGS - Trailing Gretna 3-2, Norfolk had the bases loaded with two outs in the top of the sixth inning, but a strike out ended the threat. 

Then the flood gates opened. The second-seeded Dragons scored seven runs in the bottom of the frame to defeat Norfolk 10-2 in six innings in the opening round of the Class A state tournament at the Bill Smith Softball Complex.
