LINCOLN - Humphrey St. Francis defeated Falls City Sacred Heart for the girls Class D2 state championship at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Saturday.

Allison Weidner led the Flyers with 21 points while Alissa Kosch added 13 and Kaylee Wessel, 10.

The title was St. Francis' fourth overall and the first since 2007. The Flyers finished the season 25-0 and became the first undefeated Class D2 state champion since Paxton in 2003.
