Sacred Heart rib festival

Sacred Heart Parish held its annual festival and ribfest Sunday in Norfolk. During the day, events included kids games, a noon meal, a reptile show and other activities.

Among the new activities this year was two different bingo games for gift cards and other prizes.

Thirty-four grillers competed in this year's ribfest, which cooked more than 1,700 pounds of ribs for the all-you-can-eat event in the evening.
