Two Norfolk Public Schools principals have been honored by Region III of the Nebraska Council of School Administrators.

Chuck Hughes, principal at the Norfolk Middle School, received the Outstanding New Principal award, while T.J. Shiers, assistant principal at the Norfolk Junior High, received Assistant Principal of the Year.

Region III includes Nebraska school districts in Antelope, Boone, Boyd, Brown, Cedar, Colfax, Cuming, Dakota, Dixon, Holt, Keya Paha, Knox, Madison, Pierce, Platte,Rock, Stanton, Thurston, and Wayne counties. School personnel are nominated for award consideration by their peers within the region and Region III members vote to determine the recipient.
