30th Nebraska Junior Match Play & 57th Nebraska Girls Match Play gets underway today

The four-day 30th Nebraska Junior Match Play Championship and the three-day 57th Nebraska Girls Match Play Championship both get underway today at Awarii Dunes Golf Club in Axtell. 

Competing in the boys event are Norfolk’s Jake Kluver & Isaac Heimes; Columbus’ Bryce VunCannon, Seth VunCannon, Brock Kuhlman, Shane Hess & Tristan Bade; Wisner’s Rockney Peck; Hooper’s Jake Hagerbaumer; Scribner’s Teague Stewart; and Oakland’s Ian Lundquist.  Among the girls competing include Albion’s Abby Brodersen; Columbus’ Aspen Luebbe; and Snyder’s Livia Hunke.
