Norfolk Seniors baseball splits doubleheader while Kelly's 18's softball sweeps

The Norfolk Seniors baseball team and Kelly's 18's softball teams were in action last night.

The Norfolk Seniors split a road doubleheader at Hastings on Thursday night, falling in Game One 8-0 before winning Game Two 3-1.  In Game One, Norfolk mustered only three hits in the setback and Gavin Schultz took the loss.  In Game Two, Norfolk plated two runs in the first inning in the 3-1 win.  Jaden Driscoll was the winning pitcher while Dylan Rodgers earned the save.  Norfolk is now 11-14 on the season and will compete in the Millard Sox Tournament Saturday & Sunday.

The Kelly's 18's softball team swept a road doubleheader in Genoa over Twin River 10-0 & 16-1.  They have now won six of their last seven games to improve to 19-17 on the year.  The Kellys will return to action on Monday when they host Vermillion in a 6:30 twinbill.
