52nd Nebraska Match Play continues with quarterfinals & semifinals today

The 52nd Nebraska Match Play is continuing today with the Quarterfinals and Semifinals at The Players Club in Omaha. 

In quarterfinal matches, Parkville’s Tanner Owen faces Omaha’s Dan Huston, Bennington’s William Amundsen plays Elkhorn’s Ryan Nietfeldt, Grand Island’s Cade McCallum battles Omaha’s Cole Grandfield, and Omaha’s Andy Sajevic tangles with Aurora’s Caleb Badura.  In the Round of 32 yesterday, Plainview’s Tucker Knaak lost to Grand Island’s Glenn Bills 20 holes and Matthew Schaefer of Fordyce was beaten by Fremont’s John Sajevic 2 & 1.  The 36-hole Championship Final will be held on Friday.
