Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler have given the United States the first point of the Ryder Cup. The Americans closed out the 4-and-2 victory over Rory McIlroy and Thorbjorn Olesen without even having to finish the par-3 16th. With a huge crowd cheering on the Europeans at Le Golf National, Johnson stuck his tee shot about four feet from the flag. After Olesen and McIlroy both missed longer birdie putts, the Europeans conceded the hole to close out the fourballs match. The other three matches are coming right down to the wire.
