NORFOLK - A pair of housing listening sessions is set for tonight in Norfolk and Madison.

Tim Keelan with Hanna:Keelan Associates says you’re invited to share your input on the housing study that’s underway for Madison County.

Keelan says they have some results to share from the community survey that was recently completed.

He says preliminary numbers show 758 units are needed county wide over the next five years.

"Madison County is a growth county. It has increased in population in several of the communities. Growth in population as well as stable population basically equals better housing, more modern housing."

Keelan says each community has its own initiatives on what types of housing are needed.

The listening sessions are set for Monday from 5:30 to 7 at the Madison City Auditorium and also at the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce.
