NORFOLK - As if the flooding wasn't enough, there was a house fire in Norfolk.

The fire was first reported at around 4 P.M. at 1208 Koenigstein Avenue Thursday.

According to Captain Lannce Grothe initial crews encountered heavy smoke and moderate flames.

It took 22 firefighters and six rigs about five minutes to control the fire and another hour to overhaul the structure.

The cause is believed to be from cooking materials.

The Norfolk Police Division, Hadar Fire, Hoskins Fire and Rescue, Black Hills Energy, NPPD, and the American Red Cross assisted.
