NORFOLK — Public visitation for Lonny Bottorff, 85, Norfolk, will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, June 14, at Brockhaus-Howser-Fillmer Funeral Home in Norfolk.
A private memorial service for the family will be conducted with the Rev. Robert Wiest officiating. Private inurnment will be at a later date.
He died Friday, June 7, 2019, at Norfolk Veterans Home.
Lonny Bottorff was born on Dec. 29, 1933, in Norfolk, to Eva and Wilson Bottorff. He graduated from Norfolk Senior High School with the class of 1951. Lonn worked for Chicago & North Western Railroad for four years. He served two years in the U.S. Army with 15 months in Korea.
On May 22, 1955, Lonn married Alice Tegeler at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Battle Creek. He owned and operated Lonn’s Heating & Air Conditioning from 1961 until retiring in 1996.
Lonn is survived by his spouse, Alice of Norfolk; two children, Bill (Bridget) of Yankton, and Jana (Ron) Engh of Zimmerman, Minn.; his grandchildren, Scott (Ambri) Anderson and Amy Olson; and his great-grandchildren, Sheldon, Brooke, Aria and Lyra.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and a grandchild, Michelle.
