NORFOLK — Services for Delaine M. Horn, 86, Norfolk, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, at the First Presbyterian Church in Norfolk. The Rev. Brian Johnson will officiate with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Norfolk.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Brockhaus-Howser-Fillmer Funeral Home in Norfolk.

She died Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation and Care Center in Norfolk.

 1932-2019

Delaine M. Horn, daughter of Otto and Martha (Koplen) Christians, was born Dec. 15, 1932, at Norfolk. She graduated from Norfolk Public Schools and attended Northeast Community College.

On July 10, 1955, Delaine was united in marriage to Robert E. Horn at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Norfolk. They were blessed with two sons, Dr. Bradley R. Horn and Jeffrey M. Horn.

Delaine lived in Norfolk her whole life, where she was a loving spouse and mother. She also was employed at Norfolk Printing for 18 years.

Delaine was an avid bowler, golfer and bridge player. She was a huge Norfolk Panther fan and loved Husker football. Delaine was an active member of First Presbyterian Church, American Legion Auxiliary and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She was also a member of Norfolk Country Club and Nebraska Women’s Golf Association.

Delaine is survived by her sons, Dr. Bradley (Barby) Horn of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jeffrey (Cindy) Horn of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Geoffrey “Blake” (Candace) Horn, Dr. Alissa Horn and Kristen Horn; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Robert; a sister, LaVerne Miller; and a brother, Marvin Christians.

MADISON — Services for Marcella Frauendorfer, 84, formerly of Madison, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 21, at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church in Madison. The Rev. Gregory Carl will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in rural Madison.

SEWARD — Services for John M. Giebelman, 83, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, at Zabka-Perdue Funeral Home in Seward. The Rev. Rod Lyon will officiate with burial at a later date in the Utica Cemetery.

O’NEILL — Services for Norman J. Kleeb, 90, O’Neill, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 22, at Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill.

SPENCER — Services for Betty Loock, 91, of Spencer are pending at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Spencer. She died Monday, March 18, 2019, at Good Samaritan Society in Tyndall, S.D.
