NORFOLK - Services for Adeline M. Haase, 84, of Norfolk will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Christ Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Norfolk.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Home for Funerals in Norfolk.

She died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at Faith Regional Health Services west campus.

Adeline was born on Feb. 21, 1924, at Norfolk, the daughter of Eugene and Mary (Rowlett) Dietz. She attended rural schools in Madison and Antelope counties and graduated from Neligh High School in 1942. She operated a beauty salon in Norfolk until she married Lennard Haase in Jan. 4, 1953.

The couple farmed near Norfolk until retiring.

She is survived by her husband, Lennard Haase of Norfolk, and their children, Charles and Nettie Haase of Lake Wood, N.M., Judy and Orville Yoch of Norfolk, Sharon and Ronald Poellot of Raymore, Mo., Ronald and Phyllis Haase of Battle Creek, Connie and Jim Mahoney of Colorado; three sisters, Alice Haase of Norfolk, Ruth Anson of Neligh, and Dorothy Homewood of Billings, Mont.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Obituary policy

The Daily News publishes death notices and obituaries on a daily basis for Norfolkans, area residents and former residents.

Death notices, which include information about when and where a person died, funeral services, burial and visitation for the deceased and memorial information, are published free of charge.

If families of the deceased desire to have an obituary printed, there is a fee charged for doing so. Because of that, families of the deceased can decide what information they want included in the obituary, as well as if they desire to have a photograph published along with it.

Norfolk and area funeral homes have detailed information about placing an obituary in the Daily News. If individuals want to submit obituary information themselves, it can be emailed to funerals@norfolkdailynews.com or faxed to (402) 644-2080.

People needing additional information about death notices and obituaries can call the Daily News at 371-1020 or (877) 371-1020 and ask for the newsroom.
