Steve Wilhelm of the Nebraska Game and Parks makes sure that the trout have made it into deeper waters at Ta-Ha-Zouka in Norfolk on Wednesday morning.

The lake at Ta-Ha-Zouka Park is now stocked with more than 1,500 rainbow trout to enhance fishing opportunities this fall.

Trout fishing is a great way to introduce children to fishing because simple and inexpensive equipment may be used.

The trout are grown at Grove Trout Rearing Station near Royal and stocked in city ponds and lakes across the state.
