Norfolk police officers serving an arrest warrant Wednesday evening found more than just the man they were after.

Capt. Don Miller with the Norfolk Police Division said officers arrived at Country Inn and Suites, 1201 S. 13th St., to arrest Logan Winder at about 6:30 p.m.

The homeless 19-year-old was with Jamie Bean, 35, homeless, and a 16-year-old girl.

In the hotel room, police located a pipe with methamphetamine residue, syringes and plastic baggies and a digital scale with methamphetamine residue on them.

Officers also located prescription pills on Winder with evidence that he was trying to sell them, Miller said.

Winder was arrested and booked into the Norfolk City Jail for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Bean was arrested and booked into the Norfolk City Jail for possession of methamphetamine. Both were later transported to the Madison County Jail.

The juvenile was released to her parents.
