State convention in Norfolk

The Norfolk Lions Club is hosting this year’s State Convention at the Norfolk Lodge and Suites and Divots Conference Center. The convention began Thursday and continues through the weekend.

The convention features a full schedule of speakers, events and meals as well as a tour of Embrace Park, a Pack Away Hunger service project, and a picnic with the International Lions Club director.

The public is also invited to attend a free health screening Saturday from 3-5 p.m. at the Norfolk Public Library. Screenings include free tests for hearing, vision, glaucoma, blood pressure and blood sugar.
