David Langan

STANTON — The Stanton County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 68-year-old Norfolk man on sexual assault charges.

David Langan was arrested Tuesday on alleged multiple counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child following an investigation into the unlawful acts that were only recently reported but occurred several years back, said Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger.

The incidents reportedly happened on numerous occasions at a Woodland Park residence, the sheriff said.

Langan remains in custody pending the posting of a $250,000 bond and faces more than 20 years in prison if convicted.
