Arrest action NDN

A call to police Friday night about a woman acting strangely resulted in the arrest of a Norfolk woman on drug charges.

Capt. Mike Bauer with the Norfolk Police Division said officers responded to a storage shed facility in the 1200 block of West Monroe Avenue just after 11:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers had contact with Marysue Rentfro, 58. Officers also noticed a parked vehicle with all four doors open.

Rentfro gave inconsistent responses to her purpose for being at the storage facility, Bauer said.

A search of the vehicle turned up a broken glass pipe containing methamphetamine residue and a small silver torch.

Rentfro was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. She was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
