Astronauts at the International Space Station shared a video of themselves having a pizza-making party in space.

Italian astronaut Paolo Nespoli tweeted, “When you really, really miss pizza... you CASUALLY mention it to the International @Space_Station Boss during a live public event. Thank you Kirk for surprising us with unexpectedly delicious pizzas! #VITAmission”

His boss is ISS chief Kirk Shireman, who managed to get pizza ingredients on board the space station.

The astronauts -- Commander Randy Bresnik, Joe Acaba, Alexander Misurkin, Mark Vande Hei, Sergey Ryazanskiy and Nespoli -- recorded themselves making personal-size pizzas as the ingredients floated through the high-tech space station.

American astronaut Bresnik tweeted, "Flying Saucers of the edible kind. Pizza Pie created from scratch, the IPDS (Intergalactic Pizza Devouring Squad) says 12 thumbs up!"
