J. Paul and Eleanor McIntosh of Norfolk will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with an open house on Oct. 24 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Time Square Event Center, 1905 Vicki Lane, in Norfolk. The event will be hosted by their children and spouses. No gifts are requested.

J. Paul McIntosh and the former Eleanor Sokol were united in marriage on Oct. 25, 1945, in Omaha. Their children and spouses are Janet and Glen Einspahr of Norfolk, Heather McIntosh and Michael Pooch of Norfolk, Jonathan and Barb McIntosh of Omaha, David and Kari McIntosh of Kearney, the late LaRayne Horn, and Don Horn of Norfolk. They have five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A card shower in their honor is also requested. Cards will reach the couple at P.O. Box 1366, Norfolk, NE 68702.

Our family wants to take this special day to thank God and to rejoice, remember and reminisce with you, our friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and associates from church, school and business, as well as social and community activities. As part of the “village” that supported, encouraged and nourished our family, we invite you to join us as we celebrate our parents’ 65 years of marriage.
